TA Training Program

At HKUST, Teaching Assistants (TAs) have an important role to play in the overall teaching effort. Over the past years, all new TAs have been participating in a training program together with their experienced peers with CELT staff as facilitators.

The Spring 2011-2012 Teaching Assistant Orientation and Induction Program will commence in February 2012. The TA training program is divided into two sessions, the "core session" and the "elective session". All new TAs are required to attend a total of 14 hours of workshops from the core and elective sessions. Those who are not required to take TA114 (Conducting Laboratory) as compulsory workshop need to take additional elective course(s) to make up a total of 14 hours for the TA training.

SPRING 2011-2012 TA ORIENTATION & INDUCTION PROGRAM

Upon completion of the program, each TA will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement during TA Certificate of Achievement Presentation Ceremony to be held in mid May 2012. Details will be available at a later date.
