IDEAS Portal

IDEAS stands for Instructional Development Experiences, Applications and Solutions. It is an e-learning portal designed to support the professional development of faculty and teaching staff in a flexible way. There are rich resources within the portal which are currently classified into broad instructional development themes. These are online learning and teaching (OLT), problem-based learning (PBL), cooperative and collaborative learning (CCL), assessment for learning (AFL), action research (AR) and a peer-learning technology tool called the personal response system (PRS).

The portal provides one way of supporting to faculty and teaching staff in their quest for continuous improvement of the quality of learning for their students. It is also a means for disseminating faculty and teaching staff's experiences more effectively among the UST teaching communty.
