Student Surveys
In order for the University to ensure the quality of its academic programs and to formulate better ones, the university has commissioned CELT to launch the following surveys to collect feedback from students:
Student Feedback Questionnaires (SFQ)
The Student Feedback Questionnaires (SFQ) is a set of questionnaires which allow students to provide feedbacks to the University about the effectiveness of their course learning experience. Students complete SFQ near the end of the courses through the LMES. Doing SFQ surveys is actually a student's right and privilege. Hence, it is highly recommended that students take advantage of this right and fill out the SFQ to let the University know about their views.
Student Intake Survey
The survey aims at understanding the academic and non-academic experience of HKUST students in their pre-university education as well as their academic goals and values for studying in HKUST.
Longitudinal Study I
The study aims to assess the value-addedness of UG programs on students and collects evidence linking student background and university experience with educational outcomes.
Longitudinal Study II
The second phase of this longitudinal study is to examine the direct and indirect effect of assessment and other factors on students’ learning behaviors and outcomes.
Student Engagement and Satisfaction Questionnaire (SESQ)
Student Engagement and Satisfaction Questionnaire (SESQ) is to collect systematic feedback from UG students in their final year about their education experience at HKUST.
Research Postgraduate (RPG) Exit Survey
An exit survey is conducted to collect feedback from the research postgraduates at the end of their studies.
Taught Postgraduate (TPG) Exit Survey
An exit survey is conducted to collect feedback from the taught postgraduates at the end of their studies.
